Replacing 02-06 causes black screen?

ok...so again i ran into the problem were i replaced levels 02-04 02-05 02-06 with the remake levels....so after i click to play with one player it gives a black screen...lol the horrors

original NSMBW still works fine..any ideas

Hey Ragee none of those levels have obvious problems. Could you replace them one by one and find out which level is causing the problem. It would help a lot.

yea im on that now...i know its not 02-24 which i thought it would be but yes I'm getting to it

i think its level 02-06 lol i replaced 02-04 worked fine...then replaced 02-04 and 02-05 and worked fine....then alll 3 and failed...so imma try to skip it for now and add the castle to make sure it works fine..and after that ill replace 02-04 with level 04-03 to make sure the level is not the problem..lol

so yes it is when i replace 02-06 with level 04-03 is when i get the error...if i leave 02-06 alone everything works fine...tomorrow imma try replacing a random level to 02-06 and see if it still freezes

Ok I can confirm that this does happen. However I am not sure why at this point.

yay its not only me...lol....hmm i'll see if i can mess wit it....in any case...anyone have any ideas why this is happening?..or if they had the problem themselves?

Have you tried replacing 2-6 with another level?

I think I had a problem like that once...

What I did was delete my original SMB & LL iso, and then made a copy of NSMBwii iso. Then replaced everything al over again.

i tried that it happens to me every time i replace this level..ive started over twice just in case

Tested this level with SNEEK and it worked perfectly fine for me

I have, today, made an iso of everything we have done so far, and i can confirm that 4-3 inserted in 02-06.arc works fine i have played thru the level 3 or times and had not one problem.

I am using PAL ISO, 4.2E, Cfg USB Loader (FAT32).

I Am gonna give the whole game a playthru in a while.

thanks but it might have something to do with the pal version or ntsc version...ill test the level again...an hopefully itll be one of those bugs thats a one time thing

I'm on a pal wii with a pal iso :-)

Yes, that's correct.
I'm using NTSC

I think some people were having problems with this because that are not using the text tileset. This has been added to our standard tileset update, so these problems should not occur anymore

well i cant figure out why my isos dont work right....i even got a fresh rip and then when i replaced 2-06 it didn't even boot...lol...im going to try cfg loader and if that doesn't work im doomed

edit- it didnt work either...hmmm only i would run into something like this

Its okay Ragee only one level not working use Tanooki save editor to get pass that...

Redownload the updated tilesets. Especially this one:

The previous version was missing a file needed to load some levels. Most of the time when the game freezes, it seems to be because of missing tilesets. Also, make sure you have the updated castle tileset too.
