Lost levels world a up for grabs :-(

I am unable to continue my work on world a due to a complete hard drive crash on my pc, I am unable to recover any data, cannot even access the drive. Therefore world a is up for grabs.

I had actually finished most of the work for a-2, a-3 and a-4 but never got round to uploading them anywhere, but oh well they are gone now.

I'll still hang around these forums and I can still test levels without my pc ( thru iPhone/ftpii and riivolution. Yes I finally got a retail disc lol !!!

Ouch, that always sucks. I'm more worried about your other personal files than the levels.

What all have you tried to access the drive?

Are you planning on getting a replacement hard drive sometime soon? You can usually find a basic one for pretty cheap, just something to get your computer running again.

I have the comp running with an ubuntu live cd which will do for now lol. I will be getting a new hdd (maybe even a new computer). I've tried various ways to access the drive but it just clicks over and over. I think it's fucked well and truly lol. Yeah it does suck hard there's a few photos of the kids birthdays and things that haven't been transfered to DVD yet but I guess there's nothin I can do bout those!

Ouch... I'm really sorry. Yea, if its clicking, then I guess something inside of it is probably messed up. If you had some REALLY important stuff on there, you can take the drive to a data recovery place and they would probably be able to get the data off, but it might be pricey.

I think you've inspired me to back up all my stuff, I haven't done it in quite a while >_>
