Well, I do not know how it is really going, but i got a few questions:
1) Hows the game going so far? 2) What is missing? 3)Who actually has the ISO and who is replacing the files and shiz? 4)Were are you guys gonna release it? I have an edia, we make a site (webs.com maybe?) and make it look all pro, then we compress the files with Winrar and split it into 2 parts (around 150MB each)and name it: OLDSMB.rar then upload it to Megaupload.com and mirror it at midiafire.com 5.Will we make a trailer video? If so could i do it? i got great quality and almost 1000 subs, within a week I will have 1000+ view because all my fans:

Ragee will prob make the final iso/patch whichever he decides to do, but i like the idea of a website, but hang on why dont we just use this forum to release it?

I don't think we should release as an ISO. Just as packs of .arc's or something.

I think we are looking for someone who can write a sort of installer that will insert all the .arcs into the correct places in an iso. Of course there would be a stand alone pack of .arcs for those using riivolution as well.

When i first downloaded the beta pack of levles, i just used Partition Builder 1.1.
Someone could just upload a "Stage" folder with all the required stages and the textures already replaced, then you just use this and Wii Scrubber and everything is replaced :p

The only way to distribute this legaly is by patching the arc files into the SZS patches that the SZS mod creates, but who has the time? and that would take FOR EVER!
The only way to do it is to Compress it, then zip it then make it into a rar files and split it into 2..... then upload it to megaupload....

Wouldn't we also need to upload an object folder as If I remember that's where the backgrouds are?

Just upload the Object and Sound folders too We would also have to include the new opening.bnr as well
Of course, the only real difference between only uploading the folders rather than the full ISO is that: * Partition.bin * Apploader.img * Boot2.bin * Bi2.bin * Main.dol
aren't included.
Are those 5 things much more illegal than the 100's of arc files?

Question: If any asset from the game is copyrighted content, how does the NSMBW File depot get away with hosting level and tile arcs then?
I think we should be safe to go with a Riivolution pack or an ISO patcher. A whole ISO release is out of question unless we're talking about illegal channels.

Only arcs that are not made with Reggie! (or similar) are illigal, and TPLs are not all illigal unless unmodified.

Hunterm you and I both know how mymenu/thememii work so if we could create a program like that for patching an .iso instead of a .app.
So it would be .mym file to Mymenu/Thememii ; .smb to SMB Level Patcher.
Also for the SMB Level Patcher we should let anyone use it.
