So what does this do exactly? Remove the bowser cards?

BTW not too long ago we were discussing whether someone could make a code that unlocks all the star coins https://originalsmbw.forumotion.com/smb-1-discussion-f21/star-coins-t148.htm. Do you think that would be possible?

To unlock all star coins? OF COURSE THAT'S POSSIBLE. You need the address of the star coin code thought. and then you have to change the number

How many star coins are in the game anyway? 231? You have to convert the number by yourself tho.

I think you should explain what this is

Its not really a 'cheat code'. He has this theory that the location of the Boswer cards were always one of 6 combinations. Knowing these combinations, you can avoid the Bowser cards.

Example:


Break it up like this:


Each roman numeral is a possible combination. Lets look at the first one:


And break it up into each line, where X is the location of a Bowser card, and O is a powerup.




So for world 1..


Would be all of the possible locations of Bowser cards in the World 1 toad houses. Cram that all into one line, and you get the format for his 'codes'. Of course, finding these combinations is just from playing the games over and over and writing them down, so there's a chance that there are more combos. Personally, its not really worthwhile to compare the minigame to these lists, but with this info, it might be possible to create a cheat code to force a particular combination every time or something.

There are only 6 combination for each world.

P.S.: You can change the combinations in Reggie.

You can change them in Reggie? I didn't know that, thats cool. Haven't really messed with the toad levels in Reggie any. Also, when you first showed this to me, we thought it was 5 combos per toad stage, but 6 per world is much more practical. And don't worry, I wasn't disappointed. If I wasn't interested in this, I wouldn't have made that 'tutorial' explaining it

I'm sure not everyone get Reggie workin' So this code helps for the people that don't. (and some just don't want to xD xD)
