SMB Deluxe Boo Race Levels

Apparently the Game Boy Color version of SMB 1 had 8 extra levels. I didn't know these levels existed. They are called Boo Races, I suppose you do just that, their design is pretty cool. So I made a test Boo Race, But I can't figure out how I can get The Red Stones to be there and the switch destroy them then they come Back, But I'm Sure there is a way to do it. Here's a screenshot. of a Piece of the level.



Where The 191 Blocks are they should be solid blocks untill the switch is hit, then they all turn transparent for a time, you hit another switch and so on. Also it would be ideal if there was a way to trigger it by hitting a block instead of hitting the block then hitting the switch. Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this feat?
